South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), 37-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Anchorage upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Wolves clash with the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Eagle River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 80-7 non-league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK).
