Arizona High School Basketball - Fredonia nips Ash Fork

December 16, 2023: Fredonia, AZ 86022

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Fredonia Lynx (Fredonia, AZ) and the visiting Ash Fork Spartans (Ash Fork, AZ), saw Fredonia's basketball squad hold off Ash Fork by a count of 13-11.

With the victory, Fredonia upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Rock Point (Rock Point, AZ) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Spartans play the Seligman Antelopes (Seligman, AZ) in a 1A Canyon battle, on Wednesday, January 3. Ash Fork will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
