Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN), 78-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Lac qui Parle Valley lost 59-23 in their recent league bout against MACCRAY (Clara City, MN)

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 61-58 league loss to Madelia (Madelia, MN).
