Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), 34-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. Abraham upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles host Montpelier (Montpelier, VT) to clash with the Solons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Solons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Montpelier lost 64-33 in their recent league bout against Harwood (Moretown, VT)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Burr & Burton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 62-50 league win over Colchester (Colchester, VT).
