Luther Prep Phoenix (Watertown, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Catholic Central Hilltoppers (Burlington, WI), 55-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Luther Prep upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Oakfield (Oakfield, WI) to play the Oaks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Oaks come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Oakfield won 62-41 in their recent league bout against Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves (Jackson, WI) in a Midwest Classic bout, on Saturday, January 6. Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
