Idaho High School Basketball - Garden Valley topped by Council

The Council Lumberjacks basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Garden Valley Wolverines to 49 in the Lumberjacks league victory on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horseshoe Bend for a 1A II Long Pin contest on Monday, January 8. Council will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 39-26 non-league win over Centennial Baptist (Caldwell, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.

The Wolverines (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Victory Charter (Nampa, ID). The Vipers come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
