Georgia High School Basketball - Twiggs County can't hold off Dooly County

The Dooly County Bobcats basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Twiggs County Cobras to 33 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bobcats now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Macon County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Dooly County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-39 league win over Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.

The Cobras (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bleckley County (Cochran, GA). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Bleckley County was nudged by Houston County (Warner Robins, GA), 51-42, in a non-league contest.
