With the victory, Dowling Catholic improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to confront the J-Hawks in a Central Iowa Metro - Central test on Tuesday, January 2. The J-Hawks go into the test with a record of 2-7.

The Spartans now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Assumption for a Mississippi test on Tuesday, December 19. Pleasant Valley will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 62-56 league loss to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.
