The Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Easton Bears (Easton, ME), 34-23 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Central Aroostook notched a victory over Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 58-5, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Washburn for a D North test on Monday, December 18. Easton will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 42-35 league win over East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 1-1.
