Texas High School Basketball - Westbury overwhelmed by Lamar

The Westbury Huskies basketball team (Houston, TX), was overwhelmed 70-21 in Saturday's league battle with the host Lamar Texans (Houston, TX)

The Texans now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houston Math Science & Tech for a 6A Region III District 18 battle on Monday, December 18. Lamar will confront a Tigers team coming off a 41-20 league win over Chavez (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.

The Huskies (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Cardinals come into the 6A Region III District 18 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Bellaire was overwhelmed by Westside (Houston, TX), 51-48, in a league battle.
