JV Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA), 40-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, JV Opponent upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Folsom will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
