The Chapin Eagles basketball team scored 28 points and held the host Irmo Yellowjackets to 7 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newberry for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Chapin will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-7 non-league loss to Chapin (Chapin, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Yellowjackets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
