In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA) ice hockey team nipped the visiting Deerfield Academy Big Green (Deerfield, MA), by a margin of 3-2.
The Big Blue now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster School for a non-league challenge on Sunday, December 17. Phillips Academy will play a Martlets team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Milton Academy (Milton, MA). The Martlets record now stands at 3-2.
The Big Green (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Milton Academy (Milton, MA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Milton Academy nipped Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
