The Hermantown Hawks the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs ice hockey team by a margin of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Hawks now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eden Prairie for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6.
The Zephyrs (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
