The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes (Carson, CA) and the visiting Wildwood Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), observed California Academy of Math & Science's basketball team overcome Wildwood by a margin of 64-55.

The Coyotes (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Oxford Academy gained a win over Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA), 67-51, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Wildwood falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA) to play the Huskies in a Coastal bout on Friday, December 20. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Rolling Hills Prep lost 62-56 in their recent non-league bout against La Habra (La Habra, CA)
