The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Combine Academy Global Goats (Lincolnton, NC) and the host Carter G. Woodson Eagle (Winston-Salem, NC), observed Combine Academy Global's basketball team overwhelm Carter G. Woodson by a margin of 72-46.

The Goats (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Fighting Pharaohs come into the CAASC Greater Piedmont challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Quality Education Academy was trounced by Oak Hill Academy - Red (Mouth of Wilson, VA), 53-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagle battle the Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC) in a CAASC Greater Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Carter G. Woodson will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 59-31 league loss to Combine Academy Global (Lincolnton, NC).
