The Community Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders to 54 in the Warriors league triumph on Monday.

The Warriors now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy for a CSAA game on Tuesday, December 17. Community Christian Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 57-20 league loss to Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC) to confront the Lions in a Western Piedmont game on Tuesday, December 17. The Lions go into the game with a record of 1-4. The Master's Academy lost 67-35 in their recent league game against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC)
