The Corry Beavers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Northwestern Wildcats to 30 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Beavers now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Conneaut Area for a District 10 Region 5 game on Wednesday, December 18. Corry will confront a Eagles team coming off a 67-52 non-league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Northwestern falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North East (North East, PA) to confront the Grape Pickers in a District 10 Region 3 game on Friday, December 20. The Grape Pickers go into the game with a record of 0-2. North East lost 60-39 in their recent non-league game against Fairview (Fairview, PA)
