In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Dobyns-Bennett Indians basketball team scored a good 59-49 triumph over the David Crockett Pioneers.

The Indians (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Alexander topped East Paulding (Dallas, GA), 58-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 23. David Crockett will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
