The South Kingstown Rebels basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host East Greenwich Avengers to 49 in the Rebels league triumph on Monday.

The Rebels now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 2 game on Thursday, December 19. South Kingstown will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, East Greenwich falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Avengers host Westerly (Westerly, RI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Division 1 game on Thursday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-1. Westerly lost 67-54 in their recent league game against East Providence (East Providence, RI)
