Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Purchase Line nips Harmony Area

December 16, 2024: Commodore, PA 15729

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Purchase Line Red Dragons basketball team scored a close 42-41 win over the Harmony Area Owls.

The Red Dragons (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Wolves come into the Heritage contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, West Shamokin was tipped by Marion Center (Marion Center, PA), 50-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Owls battle the Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Harmony Area will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 65-41 league loss to Marion Center (Marion Center, PA).
