In Monday's league contest, the host Holt Ironmen basketball team scored a good 50-31 triumph over the West Blocton Tigers.
The Ironmen (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Northside topped Hamilton (Hamilton, AL), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Oak Grove Tigers (Bessemer, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. West Blocton will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 72-57 non-league loss to Hanceville (Hanceville, AL).
