The Kirby Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Mount Ida Lions to 36 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Nevada for a 1A Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 17. Kirby will confront a Blue Jays team coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Acorn (Mena, AR). The Blue Jays record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Mount Ida falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Umpire (Umpire, AR) to confront the Wildcats in a 1A Region 7 game on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 2-16.
