In Monday's league contest, the host Leaders In Our Neighborhood basketball team scored a big 79-40 win over the Metropolitan .

The (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Longwood Prep Academy (Bronx, NY). The come into the PSAL 1A Bronx I contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Longwood Prep Academy smashed Bronx Early College Academy (Bronx, NY), 66-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the battle the Newtown Pioneers (Elmhurst, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Metropolitan will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 65-24 non-league win over Flushing (Flushing, NY).
