The Millry Wildcats basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Washington County Bulldogs to 30 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Choctaw County for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Millry will confront a Tigers team coming off a 58-30 non-league win over Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Washington County falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bayshore Christian (Fairhope, AL) to confront the Eagles in a 2A Area 1 game on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-7. Bayshore Christian lost 57-26 in their recent non-league game against Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL)
