Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), 62-49 in a league contest.

The Green Wave (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Coudersport (Coudersport, PA). The Falcons go into the North Tier contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Coudersport topped Northern Potter (Ulysses, PA), 66-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hubbers battle the Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA) in a North Tier contest, on Friday, December 20. Smethport will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 69-11 league loss to Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA).
