In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Coal Ridge Titans basketball team scored a close 54-49 triumph over the Grand Valley Cardinals.
The Titans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO). The Sailors go into the contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Coal Ridge Titans (New Castle, CO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Grand Valley will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
