Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Blackhawk triumphant over Ambridge

December 16, 2024: Beaver Falls, PA 15010

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) and the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), observed Blackhawk's basketball team overwhelm Ambridge by a score of 59-7.

The Cougars (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Vikings come into the WPIAL 4A 2 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Hopewell was routed by Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 34-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bridgers encounter the New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Ambridge will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
