The Cainsville Redmen basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Union Star Trojans to 39 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Monday.

The Redmen now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Pattonsburg for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Cainsville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 49-26 non-league loss to Gilman City (Gilman City, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Union Star falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to West Nodaway (Burlington Junction, MO) to confront the Rockets in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 5-0. West Nodaway won 66-33 in their recent non-league game against Westran (Huntsville, MO)
