Georgia High School Basketball - Pierce County succumbs to Clinch County

In Monday's non-league test, the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), by a final score of 43-34.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Clinch County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 10-0 record after their 42-40 non-league win over Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA).

The Bears (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Jeff Davis went down by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 59-58, in a non-league test.
