The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Warren Central Cougars (Chestertown, NY) and the visiting Crown Point Panthers (Crown Point, NY), observed North Warren Central's basketball team knock off Crown Point by a score of 40-31.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY). The Cardinals come into the Section 2 Adirondack I challenge with a 1-2 record.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Seton Catholic Central Knights (Plattsburgh, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Crown Point will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
