The Indian River Indians basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Worcester Prep Mallards to 27 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

The Indians now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Lake Forest for a Henlopen - Southern game on Tuesday, December 17. Indian River will confront a Spartans team coming off a 52-32 non-league win over Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Worcester Prep falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mallards host Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA) to confront the Ponies in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Ponies go into the game with a record of 0-3.
