The Porters (12-0) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Riverside-Brookfield was topped by Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 75-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban challenge, on Friday, December 20. Sandburg will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 45-44 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL).
