The Midway/Minto Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] to 41 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Drayton/Valley-Edinburg for a B District 3 game on Tuesday, December 17. Midway/Minto will confront a Titans team coming off a 42-38 non-league win over Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND). The Titans record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The travel to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND) to confront the Patriots in a B District 4 game on Friday, December 20. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 2-1.
