The Munising Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Stephenson Eagles to 49 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gwinn for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. Munising will confront a Modeltowners team coming off a 48-32 league win over Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Modeltowners record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Stephenson falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Baraga (Baraga, MI) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 3-2. Baraga lost 68-50 in their recent league game against L'Anse (L'Anse, MI)
