The Perry Central Bulldogs basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Vancleave Bulldogs to 27 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Perry Central will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 46-23 non-league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Vancleave falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to East Central (Moss Point, MS) to confront the Hornets in a 5A Region 4 game on Thursday, December 19. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-3. East Central lost 52-19 in their recent league game against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS)
