Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgemont bested by Upper Scioto Valley

Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 41-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Upper Scioto Valley advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Rams travel to Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH) to face the Tigers in a Northwest Central match on Thursday, December 19. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 4-4. Waynesfield-Goshen lost 58-48 in their recent non-league match against Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH)

The Golden Gophers now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgedale for a Northwest Central match on Thursday, December 19. Ridgemont will face a Rockets squad coming off a 39-29 non-league win over Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 2-2.
