California High School Basketball - Valley Christian Academy bested by Santa Maria

Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA), 60-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Santa Maria advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Saints travel to Lompoc (Lompoc, CA) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Braves enter the match with a record of 7-5. Lompoc won 45-23 in their recent non-league match against Nipomo (Nipomo, CA)

The Lions now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shandon for a Coast Valley match on Tuesday, December 17. Valley Christian Academy will meet a Outlaws squad coming off a 30-10 non-league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, CA). The Outlaws record now stands at 1-2.
