The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) and the visiting Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), observed South Aiken's basketball team knock off Airport by a score of 31-22.

The Thoroughbreds (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-4 record.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Airport will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
