In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Midlothian Trojans basketball team scored a good 55-45 triumph over the Clover Hill Cavaliers.
The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Albemarle topped Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 47-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Clover Hill will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 35-27 non-league win over Powhatan (Powhatan, VA).
