The Luella Lions basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Eagle's Landing Eagles to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Woodland for a non-league game on Monday, January 6.

With the loss, Eagle's Landing falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Woodland (Stockbridge, GA) to play the Wolfpack in a game on Wednesday, December 18. The Wolfpack go into the game with a record of 6-6. Woodland lost 64-53 in their recent non-league game against Heritage (Conyers, GA)
