Florida High School Basketball - Freedom bests Mount Dora

The Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL) basketball toppled the host Mount Dora Hurricanes (Mount Dora, FL), 61-45 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Kissimmee Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, December 18. Freedom will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 57-50 league win over Heritage Christian School (Kissimmee, FL). The Lions record now stands at 14-4.

The Hurricanes (1-11) will now prepare for their test against West Port (Ocala, FL). The Wolf Pack come into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, West Port overcame Citrus (Inverness, FL), 65-55, in a non-league test.
