In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Randolph Rockets basketball team scored a close 79-74 win over the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights.
The Rockets (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN). The Awesome Blossoms come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Blooming Prairie tipped Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN), 87-59, in a non-league match.
The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triton for a non-league match on Friday, December 19. Kenyon-Wanamingo will face a Cobras squad coming off a 73-39 non-league win over Hayfield (Hayfield, MN). The Cobras record now stands at 5-1.
