The Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) basketball toppled the host Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA), 60-44 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Gobblers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Monticello for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 17. Broadway will play a Mustangs team coming off a 55-35 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Staunton falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Shenandoah bout on Thursday, December 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Rockbridge County lost 73-23 in their recent league bout against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)
