Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), 54-44 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Crystal Lake South upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Gators travel to Wauconda (Wauconda, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, December 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-0. Wauconda won 52-22 in their recent non-league match against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL)

The Knights now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Lake for a Northern Lake County match on Friday, December 19. Grayslake North will face a Panthers squad coming off a 54-45 league loss to Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
