The Porter Pirates basketball squad scored 44 points and restricted the host Haskell Haymakers to 32 in the Pirates league win on Tuesday.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Broken Arrow, OK) in a Next Era Energy outing, on Friday, December 19. Porter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 47-29 league loss to Hulbert (Hulbert, OK).
The Haymakers (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK). The Wildcats come into the Next Era Energy outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Chouteau-Mazie overcame Mounds (Mounds, OK), 68-25, in a league game.
