Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH), 55-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Scotties travel to Zanesville (Zanesville, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Zanesville lost 66-47 in their recent league bout against Granville (Granville, OH)

Next up, the Generals play the Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 22. Sheridan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 73-46 league loss to Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH).
