Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Richland upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA) to play the Rangers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Wednesday, December 22. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Forest Hills won 59-49 in their recent league bout against Bedford (Bedford, PA)

Next up, the Huskies play the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Monday, December 20. Bishop Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 51-18 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA).
