Oregon High School Basketball - Willamette thwarts Churchill

The Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR), 50-41 in Friday's league test.
The Wolverines (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts go into the 5A Midwestern test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Thurston went down by Crater (Central Point, OR), 60-38, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Bend for a 5A Midwestern test on Tuesday, January 11.
