Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX), 45-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grady upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Wink (Wink, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Wink lost 36-32 in their recent non-league bout against Midland Christian (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 28. Sterling City will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Bearkats go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 60-10 non-league win over Compass Academy (Odessa, TX).
